In the next two weeks, we will be finishing some work for student-led conferences.
Math:
We will be finishing our learning about equivalent fractions, comparing fractions and fraction word problems. As well as converting fractions to decimals and ordering decimals.

We have one more day to complete building our cars and we will race next week.

"How do the forces of electricity and energy interact with one another?
We are finishing up designing our electric cars and will be moving on to chemistry. Students will look at the liquid and solids and see the chemical and physical changes between the two.

Language Arts:
Questions to think about while reading the "Miracle at Willowcreek":
"What is the relationship between the characters and storyline in the novel 'Miracle at Willowcreek'?"
"What effect does the non-living and living have on the wetland ecosystem?"
"How do the wetlands impact our environment in today's climate-changing times?"
Students will continue to read the chapter until spring break. They are currently on chapter 8 and hope to read up to chapter 10 or 11 before spring break.
