TLC Grade 5 Homework Week 24
(February 24 – 28)
Your child’s homework should not exceed 20 minutes per day. Take into
consideration all of the homework for the week and organize it as you feel works
best. For example, your child may do 10 minutes of reading and 10 minutes of
math one night, or if they have already completed the assignments, they could
do reading for 10 minutes and basic facts practice for another 10 minutes.
Homework must be completed by the due date each week.
Due to the short week, this week’s homework is due Friday, February 28th.
Homework for this week:
1. Math – Fractions practice
2. Science – Electricity
3. Daily reading! (please use any books, magazines,
newspapers, etc at home)
4. Practice basic facts (always!) (for addition, subtraction,
multiplication, and division)
Please ensure you are checking your child’s homework for completion and initial
each student's work page to show you have checked it.
